Join the Children's Science Center Lab for our STEM Enrichment Series, a 6-week program designed for 3rd through 5th grade students to apply concepts they learn in school to project-based challenges using critical thinking, research, and data sharing. This live program has limited capacity series to keep educator/student ratio low, begins on Monday, September 14 and runs through October 26th with an optional "Fun Day" on Monday, October 12 (Indigenous Peoples' Day and school holiday). ‍

In STEM Enrichment Series I

Students will explore the world of physics, chemistry, and engineering through interactive and hands-on activities, build projects, experiments, and more!

- Build our own simple and complex machines to explore forces and motions

- Create electrical circuits and learn all about energy

- Experiment with states of matter from hands-on-activities to exciting science demonstrations!

- Design and conduct their very own experiments to discover chemical reactions, and more!

- Meet a “celebrity scientist” working in a relevant field and share our ideas with them!

Students will use a STEM Enrichment kit that includes materials for each daily STEM challenge, a science notebook to record observations, step-by-step instructions to complete each challenge, and more! Kits will be available for pick up September 11 and 12 at the Children's Science Center Lab.

In order to provide your child with the best possible personal learning experience, screen sharing will not be permitted. Please register each child individually. Second or more children are at a discounted rate of $270.
